The Heath Osteopathic Practice
The clinic re-opened in June, following the lifting of the lockdown. A risk assessment was done and a number of changes made, to help reduce the risk of infection with COVID19, during Osteopathic treatment. Despite the latest government change, bringing London into Tier 2 restrictions, Osteopaths as Allied Healthcare Professionals, are permitted to continue working. As a regulated profession, we are constantly updating and reviewing our work practices with regard to the changing healthcare situation and governmental advice. Please see the appointment page for more details and the full risk assessment on the Articles page on the website.
If you wish to make an appointment, you can now do so online, as well as by phone, however, I will need to conduct a screening call to assess whether it is safe to have a face to face appointment. If so then I will be conducting the case history over the phone.

I spend long periods of time at a computer and because of this and the stress of meeting tight deadlines, I experienced a lot of pain in my neck, shoulder and arm. I had little movement in my neck and was having difficulty turning my head. I was experiencing discomfort at night while sleeping. However, after only a few sessions with Jenny, things got sorted through massage and manipulation.
She gave me a series of exercises to do, which I still do, and recommended a pilates class. I haven't had any trouble since. I think anyone who spends a long period of time in front of a computer should see an osteopath regularly to ensure they are not doing any lasting damage due to stress and poor posture.

I started seeing Jenny in April 2019 after getting persistent lower back pain which was causing me real issues. She was welcoming, professional, thorough, and I felt like she was listening carefully to what I said, examining me and treating me well accordingly. I went for two appointments a week at the start, then it went down to one a week as I improved. After about a month I was much better thanks to her care. She was very flexible with appointment times which was helpful. Thank you very much Jenny, I will be back if I have issues again.
I returned recently to see Jenny about a longstanding back pain issue knowing that her help and treatment has consistently been invaluable to me. As predicted over a series of visits I was given advice, adjustment and options for self help that has improved how I feel. I would highly recommend Jenny to anyone who wants to see someone who listens and can make a difference.
