The Heath Osteopathic Practice is open
Further to the next stage of the reopening in England, I will continue to wear PPE and implement my cleaning and disinfection routines, to help prevent the spread of COVID19, until further notice. I will also be continuing to require my patients to wear a mask, unless medically exempt, so that we can each protect each other.
The clinic reopened in June 2020, following the lifting of the lockdown. A risk assessment was done and a number of changes made, to help reduce the risk of infection with COVID19, during Osteopathic treatment. This included increased cleaning and disinfection routines in the clinic and the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). As a regulated profession, we are constantly updating and reviewing our work practices, with regard to the changing healthcare situation and governmental advice. Please see the appointment page for more details and the full risk assessment on the Articles page of the website.
If you wish to make an appointment, you can now do so online, as well as by phone, however, I will need to conduct a screening call, to assess whether it is safe to have a face to face appointment. If so, then I will be conducting the case history over the phone.

I have always suffered from headaches, regularly resorting to over-the-counter and prescribed pain relief. I am 56 and had become really miserable at the constant strain of living with head pain.
I had my first treatment from Jenny and felt the benefits immediately. I felt as if it was the first time in years that I had been free of any headache and could stand with my back straight and my shoulders relaxed. I have had massage before with little noticeable change but this treatment felt very different Jenny gave me advice as to how to tackle the onset of a headache and since that first treatment my headaches have improved beyond belief. I used to think my headaches would always be a constant, painful part of my life - now I cannot remember the last time I had one.
I came to see Jenny a bit desperate after a month of lower back problems. She has definitely made a difference on my daily life and doubtlessly I would come to see her again if needed.
She listens to you and takes notes of what your problem/feelings are trying to understand where the pain comes from. Apart from her own manipulations and massages on you, she recommends specific stretching exercises that sends over e-mail and that me personally found very useful.
Jenny has helped me enormously with back problems exacerbated by lockdown, in her covid-safe practice. I appreciated the level of care, detail and explanation she gave in her sessions. Thank you, Jenny!
